Few days ago we started to work on a new site for Opici Wines, one of the biggest wine distribution companies in the United States.
Opici Wines is a portfolio of close to 50 brands from Italy, Spain, France, Chile, Argentina, South Africa, and the United States. They offer wines for every taste and budget, and each wine represents a great value to the consumer. Each brand is represented nationally through their distributor network covering close to fifty states.
To create an attractive and interactive website we will be using HTML5, CSS3 and jQuery. These tools combine features of video player and creation of animations that previously required plugins of 3rd party such as Adobe Flash. HTML5 is actually the future of web design and development but we can begin using this language today. The end goal of HTML5 is to improve interoperability while at the same time reduce the costs of developing websites and web applications.
Like HTML 5 also CSS3 is under development, however we can start to use some new features and properties, which work in modern browser, to improve and optimize our web design projects.
More details coming soon!
